About the project
RoofLens turns the phone into a complete roofing takeoff and estimating tool. Roofs can be drawn by hand, traced over a photo or measured from satellite and drone imagery.
Area, pitch and every material are computed in seconds; together with 2D and 3D roof views, a clean PDF proposal is generated to share with the customer on site. The app supports 33 languages.
The need
Roofers had to climb the roof to measure, do calculations by hand and prepare quotes back at the office.
What we built
We combined Mapbox satellite imagery, AI-assisted measurement, a 3D roof model and a PDF quoting engine in a single field app.
