About the project
With MenuPort, restaurant owners create menus in minutes or import an existing one from a link. AI generates 3D models from product photos; guests open the menu at the restaurant's own address, spin the dish in 3D and place it on their table in AR.
Allergen and calorie info, multi-language support, a personal menu address and detailed view analytics show businesses which items attract attention. The platform consists of a Flutter admin app and a Next.js public menu website.
The need
Classic QR menus only showed a PDF or a flat list. Restaurants wanted to present dishes more vividly but couldn't afford 3D photo shoots.
What we built
We built a 3D pipeline that generates GLB models from photos and converts them server-side to USDZ for iOS Quick Look. One generation supports both Android Scene Viewer and iOS AR, and the menu site is fast and SEO-friendly.
