About the project
Friend Point answers the question "What should I do tonight?". Users discover curated events and meetups nearby, meet people with similar interests, chat and make plans.
Profile approval, community rules and moderation keep the environment safe. Ticket purchases, QR check-in, membership plans and partner perks are all managed inside the app.
The need
Community events relied on separate tools for tickets, payments, attendee approval and chat, and fake profiles were a safety concern.
What we built
We built an end-to-end platform with server-verified payment and ticketing (Sipay), QR check-in, profile approval, real-time chat and role-based Firestore security rules.
